Emily: Here's my theory on dating the crazies: it's kind of like why the Pepsi Challenge works for Pepsi. The tasters immediately choose Pepsi because it's a lot sweeter and more exciting, and Coke isn't as flavorful at first. But the reason Coke still out-sells Pepsi in the longrun is because a whole can of Pepsi is just too much sweetness, while Coke, you know, you stick around with it and it's more tolerable because you're not overwhelmed by sweetness. So in terms of the crazies, you meet one and they seem so exciting and new and intriguing. But when you try to down a whole can, it just doesn't work out. So when you meet someone who's a Coke, they're not as sweet and intriguing at first, but if you stick with it, it lasts.
